Rest Now for An Easier Labor

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco San Diego found that pregnant women who sleep less than six hours a night average 29 hours in labor, while those who sleep more than 7 hours a night average about 1 ˝ hours in labor. The researchers don’t know how to explain the findings, but lead author Kathryn Lee, Ph.D., RN, told Health Magazine that pregnant women need to be “sleeping for two.”
