Conception Delay May Mean It’s a Boy |
The longer it takes a couple to conceive, the more likely they will eventually have a boy, according to a recent study conducted by researchers at the University Maastricht Hospital in the Netherlands. Couples who needed more than a year to conceive naturally had boys 58 percent of the time. Each additional year of trying increased the odds of delivering a boy another 4 percent. The researchers believe that sperm with Y chromosomes are probably better at swimming through the thicker cervical fluids that can cause infertility.
